Barbados signs on to Copenhagen Declaration

Barbados has signed on to the International Declaration on Transnational Organised Crime in the Global Fishing Industry (Copenhagen Declaration).

Minister of Environment and National Beautification, Adrian Forde on signing the Declaration on behalf of the Government of Barbados, says the country has been working with the Regional Security System (RSS) in a bid to stop illegal fishing.

He says throughout the whole supply chain, Barbados is striving to dismantle the criminal network behind fisheries crime.
