Today’s Highlights:
The country has recorded its 6th triple murder after a father, mother and son were gunned down in Petit Valley on Monday 9th September, 2024.
• The victims, identified as, 41-year-old Marlon Lee, 34-year-old Salina Rodriguez and their son Maleek Lee, were killed in a violent attack that occurred at LP 81 Upper Pioneer Drive.
A 23-year-old Maraval man identified as Diego Roper is missing and is suspected to have been abducted on Sunday 8th September, 2024.
• Roper of Cacao Ext, Morne Roche, Paramin Hill, Maraval was last seen by a relative, who told police, around 9:30pm, Roper, was on the roadway in front of their home when she heard him shout in a loud tone, “NO BOY NO BOY” and subsequently heard loud explosions resembling gun shot.
• She made checks and observed a red vehicle, make and model unknown and partial number plates” PEE” fleeing the scene heading towards Cameron Road.
Police officer intercepted a stolen vehicle from Claxton Bay this morning, Tuesday 10th September, 2024, along the Eastern Main Road near La Retreat Road, Arima, following a high-speed chase.
39-year-old Crystal Le Blanc of Wallerfield and Manzanilla was charged in connection with the murder of Fizam Hosein in Wallerfield on Monday 22nd May, 2023.
A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by her cousin while asleep at her Marabella home on Monday 9th September, 2024.
An 11-year-old Schoolboy of Enterprise was robbed by two (2) men of $27, while waiting for a taxi along Tragarete Road, Woodbrook on Monday 9th September, 2024.
A 45-year-old security guard was robbed of his loaded pistol during an attack by an ex-security officer at NGC City Gate Valve Station in Barataria on Monday 9th September, 2024.
• During the struggle the constable managed to unmasked the suspect and observed him to be his ex-co-worker identified as Jarius Barnswell whom he has known for the past two years whilst employed at a security company.
