Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado said on Saturday that the fight of the majority anti-Chavez movement, which denounced fraud in the July 28 elections, is “accelerating on various levels,” while she considered that Nicolas Maduro is weakening politically as the days go by.

«We are living days of enormous intensity and Things are moving a lot and accelerating on various levels“, the liberal expressed in a video that she shared through X, in which she repeated that the Chavista government, which defends Maduro’s victory in the elections, “is becoming more alone and isolated every day.”

He stressed that Maduro’s controversial victory has not been recognized by many countries and that this proclamation by the National Electoral Council (CNE), questioned inside and outside the country, caused the Chavista leader to lose “a lot” of international support.

«Maduro is (only) recognized by the tyrannies of the world“, he stressed.

Maria Corina Machado: I ask you to focus on the goal

Machado, who has remained under guard in recent weeks, reiterated that the Democratic Unitary Platform (PUD) has “a robust strategy” to assert the victory that, they say, their standard-bearer, Edmundo González Urrutia, obtained in the presidential elections.

“We have had rigorous discipline in complying with it and, because we have maintained confidence in the political leadership, they have not been able to infiltrate us. We have remained united, so I ask you to focus on the goal, We are going to enforce the popular sovereignty expressed on July 28 and that is what is going to happen,” he insisted.

He also stressed that “every day there is more pressure on” the Executive, which has the support of all State institutions, including the Armed Forces.

«Every day they are weaker and every day we are stronger, every day we are closer to liberating Venezuela and bringing our children back home, So serenity, courage and firmness“, he concluded.
