Last Minute Request For COVID-19 Test A Worry For TT Students At UWI Cave Hill

UWI Cave Hill students expecting to be flown from Trinidad to Barbados on Sunday morning are now required to provide proof to Barbados’ Immigration that they are COVID-19 Negative before being allowed to enter that country.

The development is reported to be causing some contention, as TTT News understands that a number of students were unable to secure tests in time for tomorrow’s scheduled flight.

During Saturday’s Media Conference at the Diplomatic Centre, National Security Minster Stuart Young addressed the matter and said the latest development is out of the lands of the Trinidad and Tobago Government.

On the issue regarding mandatory mask wearing, Minister Young took the time to clarify how it should be approached as an occupant in a vehicle.
