Surgeon tried to take his own life in Caracas
A surgeon, identified as Brando López, 52 years old, attempted to commit suicide by jumping from the third floor of a building located in Caracas.
The incident occurred on Fuerzas Armadas Avenue, near San Ramón, on Tuesday night, journalist Natalia Roca reported on Instagram.
Officials from the Capital District Fire Department and Civil Protection lifted the body (still with vital signs) and transferred it to the Miguel Pérez Carreño Hospital emergency room.
Neighbors testified that they watched Lopez cry all day. “He said that they had threatened him because according to him A kid had kidnapped him in a hotel two weeks ago. “Today (Tuesday) she started crying and crying. Something must have happened to her,” said a neighbor.
Brando López is a doctor at the Domingo Luciani Hospital in Caracas. His current health status is unknown.
