Upgrades, New Facilities For TT Regiment

Upgrades and construction at army stations are two of the many improvements being made by the Ministry of National Security for the Regiment of Trinidad and Tobago.

This was revealed by Minister Fitzgerald Hinds as he spoke to the new members of the army at their Passing Out Parade on Thursday. While promising the support of the Ministry for their work, he said training in defence and security would continue to come as the Ministry engages with international partners.

Other elements of their orders would see the new soldiers do all they can at the new Rio Claro station to protect the nation. The Minister reminded them of their duties and called on them to be not only fighters of criminality but also mentors for youth.
