Relatives charged with attempted murder of 1-year-old

Premwatee Amy Babwah and Michael Williams of Trainline, West Bayshore, Marabella, will appear before a Masters Court today Tuesday 8th October 2024 charged with Attempted Murder and Cruelty of a one-year-old female baby. 

In a statement, the TTPS said on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 officers of the Special Victims Department, Southern Division, responded to a report of cruelty upon a child which occurred in Marabella. 

It said the investigation led to the arrest of both suspects yesterday. 

The victim is presently warded at the hospital in a stable condition. 

The investigation was supervised by Insp Star Jacob, W/Sgt Andrew, W/Cpl Ferguson and WPC Lashley.
