Electoral Commission published schedule for elections
The Electoral Commission of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) published this Tuesday the schedule for the elections of student representatives and graduates, which will be held on November 15.
From October 21 to 25 will be the registration period for lists and candidates. The publication of the accepted candidates is at the end of the month and the electoral propaganda from November 4 to 14.
Likewise, from November 15 to 21 the period for contesting the results will run, the final total will be published on the 22nd and the swearing-in ceremonies will begin on the 26th. month.
The study house will renew the Federation of University Centers, student centers, Faculty, School and University Councils for the period 2024-2025, while the graduates will decide their representatives for the councils.
The last time students went to the polls at the UCV was on May 25, 2022, after three years without holding elections and after the announcement of the coronavirus pandemic.
