Body found on beach behind ANR Robinson Airport runway

Tobago recorded another murder after authorities found a man dead on a beach behind the ANR Robinson International Airport runway, earlier today.

This latest incident has pushed the island’s murder toll to 25 for 2024.

According to Senior Superintendent Earl Elie, the man suffered a single chop wound to the neck.

He told the media that investigators have identified the victim but preferred not to release the name until the family is notified first.

He urged the public to cooperate with the police and share any information that could help bring the perpetrators to justice.
