A Tobago man was arrested for malicious damage on Sunday after he shattered the glass of the front door at the Charlotteville Police Station.

Police told Guardian Media the man went to the police station around 7 am with his teenage daughter to make a report. When he arrived at the information desk, he was asked by officers why he was there.

He allegedly became irritated immediately and stormed out of the station. He returned with a gas tank and allegedly threw it at the door causing the glass to shatter and break. He then ran off.

Officers chased and arrested him. He remains detained at the Roxborough Police Station where he is expected to be charged.
