Demonstration against Sánchez: María Corina Machado will intervene

The more than one hundred associations convening the demonstration against the Government of Pedro Sanchez This Sunday, October 20, they are grouped under the name of Platform for Constitutional Spain and denounce “the very serious deterioration of democracy” in Spain and the “obscene purchase of props parliamentarians with measures that undermine equality, interterritorial solidarity and the rule of law. In their manifesto, the organizers denounce the Executive for the “obscene purchase of parliamentary support with measures that undermine equality, interterritorial solidarity and the rule of law. «It is not a concentration of left, right or center, but of democrats willing to face a process that entails a carousel of unlimited concessions and decisions that crush the common interest, pervert the Constitution and the law and lay the foundations for an irreversible decay», reads the text.

These associations emphasize that they cannot “remain impassive” in the face of “the granting of the Catalan quota to the nationalists», «in the face of the transfer of the management of Social Security to the Basque Country», «the approval of an immoral and unconstitutional amnesty», the «colonization» of institutions or «in the face of the corruption that surrounds the president’s entourage, from the case Ábalos-Koldo, until the scandal of the acquittal of the ERE, passing through the proceedings against their relatives closer.”
