Work in Tocuyito halted due to transfer of detainees in protests

“Everything has been taken over, there are people from the guard and the Conas, today they say Maduro is coming,” said another of the workers.

Transfers of detainees since Sunday to Tocuyito and other centers

Since the morning of Sunday, August 25, several buses were reported arriving at the Centro de Formación del Hombre Nuevo Libertador, in Carabobo. They were carrying more than 120 of the people detained in the post-electoral context in the state of Lara and in cities such as Puerto Cabello, Naguanagua and Valencia.

Maduro also said he would allocate the necessary resources to ensure that the prisons would be ready within 15 days.
