Campbell leads Team TTO at Caribbean Road Cycling
Akil Campbell leads the Trinidad and Tobago team at the Caribbean Road Cycling Championships in Guyana from 2-3 November.
Endurance cyclist Campbell has been chosen along with Liam Trepte, Tariq Woods, and Enrique De Comarmond.
The team is managed and coached by Ashton Williams, with Jovian Gomez as mechanic.
Campbell participated in the recently concluded Tissot UCI World Track Championships in Ballerup, Denmark.
Campbell, Woods, and De Comarmond will compete in the 155km road race, while Trepte will take on the 86km time trial and the road race.
The Caribbean Road Cycling Championship also functions as a qualifier for Trinidad and Tobago’s U23 cyclists towards the Youth Pan American Games 2025.
Trepte and Woods are the TT U23 riders in with a shot at the Youth Pan Am Games 2025.
