Hidrocapital will suspend water service: which areas of Caracas and Miranda will be affected?

The state-owned company Hidrocapital announced that Starting this Thursday, August 29, and for a period of 48 hours, the water service will be suspended in areas of Caracas and the state of Miranda due to maintenance in the Tuy II System.

Through its social networks, the company reported that the scheduled shutdown to be carried out on the Tuy II System will affect 12 parishes in the Venezuelan capital and three municipalities in Miranda.

“During this stoppage, a large team made up of engineers, technicians and specialized workers, together with organized communities, will carry out a series of simultaneous actions; the main activity will be the interconnection of 300 meters of 100-inch pipe in the El Encantado sector, El Hatillo municipality,” Hidrocapital said in a statement.

They also stressed that the Tuy I and III systems will continue to operate while the replacement and installation of the pipeline is carried out.

Which areas of Caracas and Miranda will be affected by the Hidrocapital water cut?

In it Libertador municipality They will cut off water in 23 de Enero, Altagracia, Cathedral, El Recreo, La Pastora, San Agustin, San Bernardino, San Jose, San Juan, Santa Teresa, San Pedro and Sucre.

While in Miranda the cut will affect the municipalities of Baruta, El Hatillo and Sucre.
