A Conversation on Media and Information Literacy

This year’s event, organised by WACC Caribe, in collaboration with the Caribbean School of Media and Communication (CARIMAC), The University of the West Indies, takes the form of a debate between The UWI and the University of Technology, Jamaica, The Moot is “Be it resolved that if the Caribbean is to stem the avalanche of misinformation and disinformation in the public sphere, it is imperative that Media and Information Literacy programmes be introduced into the curriculum from the primary school level.”
