240 TT Nationals To Return Home This Week

Minister of National Security, Stuart Young, says more than 200 Nationals will return to T&T this week.

He added that work is being done to get two flights in by this weekend and 240 Nationals are expected to be brought home on these trips.

This is in addition to Nationals who have been making their own way back to Trinidad after having been granted exemptions.

Minister Young says the Ministry has been granting more exemptions and working towards increasing the numbers in accordance with the liberalised exemption policy. This new policy was announced by Minister Young on Saturday during the Health Ministry’s COVID-19 media briefing.
