Three held with stolen construction materials in Arima
Three men were arrested, and stolen construction materials were recovered, during a police operation in Arima on Thursday, August 15.
The National Operations Task Force and Arima Criminal Investigations Department teamed up for the operation from 10 am to 2 pm. They were investigating gang activities in the area.
Officers pulled over a blue Isuzu pickup truck with construction gear and three men inside. The suspects, ages 22 to 30 years, all from Arima, were taken into custody.
The materials were traced back to a contractor’s compound. The contractor confirmed the equipment belonged to him.
Investigations are still ongoing.
