Man charged with firearm-related offences

One man is expected to appear before a Master of the High Court this week charged with several firearm-related offences, arising out of a report of Shooting with Intent, which occurred in the Carenage district in October 2024.
Jimmel Harris, aka ‘Small Frank’, was arrested in connection with the matter on Wednesday 4th December 2024, by detectives of the Carenage and Four Roads Criminal Investigations Department.
He was subsequently charged with Shooting with Intent to cause grievous bodily harm, possession of firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of firearm to endanger life and possession of ammunition to endanger life.
Meanwhile, Task Force officers of the Western Division conducted an anti-crime exercise in the St. James district.
During the exercise, the officers proceeded to Soup Trace, where they conducted a search of a bushy area.
The search resulted in the discovery of one unloaded revolver.
