Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: Few heavy showers, thunderstorms likely

Here’s a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service.

For the period today until midnight, partly cloudy conditions are expected with occasional light to moderate showers occurring. There is also a 60 per cent (medium) chance of a few heavy showers or thunderstorms.

Some cloudiness will persist overnight accompanied by few showers. Gusty winds and street/flash flooding may occur near heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Adverse Weather Alert #1 – Yellow Level is in effect. Official Statement #1 has been issued.

Seas are slight to moderate, with waves one metre to 1.5 metres in open waters and calm in sheltered areas.
