Two men chopped to death in Carapichaima, Claxton Bay
Homicide Bureau of Investigations, Region Three, police are searching for the people who chopped and killed two men in separate incidents over the weekend.
On August 18, police were alerted about a man’s body found at New City Avenue in Claxton Bay around 9.30 am.
Initial reports said the unidentified victim’s hands and feet were bound.
His neck was almost severed, and his face was wrapped with plastic tape.
The victim was bareback and wore a pair of blue three-quarter jeans.
Hours later, around midday, police were altered about a semi-decomposing body with chop wounds near a river at Brickfield Road, Carapichaima.
He was later identified as Antonio Mungal of Coconut Village in Carapichaima.
The police do not have motives for the deaths.
