Media Conference on Trinidad and Tobago’s relief efforts to the Bahamas 06.09.2019

Minister of National Security the Honourable Stuart R. Young M.P. hosted a media conference today, 06 September, 2019 to update the public on Trinidad and Tobago’s relief efforts to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Joining Minister Young at the Media Conference was Chief of Defence Staff Air Commodore Darryl Daniel.

Minister Young announced that the one hundred (100) Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force members to be deployed to assist in relief efforts in the Bahamas will depart Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday 8 September, 2019 on a chartered Caribbean Airlines flight to Nassau, Bahamas. The troops will be accompanied on the flight by Minister Young, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs Senator the Honourable Dennis Moses and the Chief of Defence Staff Air Commodore Darryl Daniel.
