PM flies out for medical tests, Young acts as PM

Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Stuart Young SC will  get his second stint as acting prime minister as Prime Minister Rowley leaves the country today. 

According to the Office of the Prime Minister,  Dr  Rowley will travel to the United States today where he will undergo medical tests.

 The Prime Minister first alerted the country of his intention to travel on Wednesday during post cabinet news briefing.

The Prime Minister usually goes abroad for annual check ups between June and August. He said he had been putting off the tests for some time but was taking the opportunity to to do now.
