Man shot in Diego Martin

A man identified as Jevon Samuel has been taken to the hospital after being shot on Rich Plain Road, Diego Martin. Samuel is said to be from the area.

Reports say that around 11 a.m. on Sunday, a loud explosion was heard, and witnesses saw Samuel being rushed to the hospital.

“This is really stupid,” one resident said. Another added, “I’m fed up with the crime.”

We don’t yet have information on Samuel’s condition, but Guardian Media will provide an update as soon as more details are available.

Just yesterday, the Rich Plain community had gathered for a sports day to celebrate the country’s 62nd Independence Day.
