Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago, Dr Keith Rowley, left the country yesterday to undergo a medical checkup in the United States.

 

He said he has been postponing his international medical examination for two years now, but there is a need for one now without disclosing any ailments.

 

During his absence, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries and Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Stuart Young, will act in the capacity of Prime Minister.
