A 48-year-old baker and another man have been robbed by gunmen at a bakery in San Fernando.

Police reports say around 2:45 am on Thursday, a 42-year-old Tunapuna resident was standing near his white Nissan Wingroad in front of the Dough Factory when he was approached by two suspects, one of whom had a gun.

They forced him inside the bakery at Scott Street where an employee was baking. They tied the victims’ hands with tie straps and ransacked the business place. They took the keys to the Wingroad, his cellphone and $100 cash. They stole the employee’s Samsung Galaxy tablet and his white and black coloured G-Shock watch. The Tunapuna resident managed to burst the straps and free the other man.

San Fernando Police are investigating.
