Evolving Energy – NESC IT’s Drilling Academy

Before the National Energy Skills Centre Technical Institute was established in 1997, the necessary training to operate on a drilling rig was not available to most of the population.

In fact, that training came only if you were lucky enough to be employed by one of the many multinationals operating locally.

This week’s Evolving Energy looks at what this country’s first drilling academy at the NESC IT.
