ODPM Preps For Bad Weather

The Office Disaster Preparedness and Management is urging citizens to be ready in anticipation of the possible passage of Tropical Storm Gonzalo.

The ODPM says it has been in touch with various national agencies. These agencies include Disaster Management Units of the Ministry of Rural Development and the Tobago Emergency Management Authority, the Ministry of Works and Transport, and Ministry of National Security

The ODPM is encouraging citizens to take the following plan of action:
– Know the risk of your property in your community.
– Discuss with family, neighbours and coworkers a plan should they be affected by a hazard.
– Write down emergency contacts.
– Keep a grab and go bag as well as an emergency kit.
