MiLAT reports uptick in cadets’ CSEC performance

Some 51 per cent of cadets in the Military-Led Academic Training Programme, MiLAT, have earned full certificates in this year’s CSEC exams.

That’s 43 of the 84 cadets who sat the exam this year, MiLAT is reporting.

The organisation said in 2023, 31 per cent of cadets achieved full certification, while in 2022, there was a 39 percent success rate.

MiLAT also reports that in Mathematics and Electronic Document Preparation Management, the cadets showed a 25 percent improvement.

In announcing the results, MiLAT notes that the young men’s performance in English Language saw an 86% pass rate, while Mathematics improved to 66.3%.

Physical Education was the stand out subject matter area, with an exceptional 98.9% pass rate.
