English resident stabbed multiple times while visiting mother

Two brothers are currently warded at the San Fernando General Hospital following a confrontation at their home in Williamsville.

Police were told that a 50-year-old man, who resides in England, came to visit his 65-year-old mother at their home along Montique Lands in Williamsville.

Then around 4:30pm on Sunday, he got into an argument with his 44-year-old brother.

The confrontation soon became physical, during which the 50-year-old allegedly grabbed a bat and struck his sibling multiple times.

The 44-year-old allegedly grabbed a nearby cutlass and chopped the older man several times.

Relatives at the home soon parted the two and took them for medical attention.

The 50-year-old was warded in a critical condition while the younger brother was in a stable condition.

The police were notified and a team of officers led by PC Narce responded and are continuing enquiries.
