Bello Monte Elevated Highway will be partially closed

He Elevated highway between Bello Monte and Las Mercedes, Baruta municipality, Miranda state, will remain partially closed this Friday due to maintenance work carried out by the Ministry of Transport.

The government agency announced the maintenance work on the elevated highway on its social media, where it explained that it began on Thursday, September 11 in the morning.

The ministry reported that rehabilitation work is being carried out on the access ramps of the elevated road’s rolling layers, which is why the road will be partially closed.

The Ministry of Transportation said that on Wednesday, September 11, the right lane of the Bello Monte elevated highway would be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

He also indicated that on Thursday, September 12, the left lane will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. This is in order to guarantee the mobility of the people.

“We invite our users to take the necessary preventive measures in the work carried out by our working class, to guarantee their well-being and safety,” The government agency stated.

The rehabilitation works on this elevated highway, by the ministry, began at the beginning of this month. However, the mayor of the Baruta municipality, Darwin González, indicated that on this occasion they will provide support to complete the work as soon as possible.
