SORT Operations in East POS on 04.06.2021

Members of the Special Operations Response Team and the National Security Special Operations Group led by Supt. Roger Alexander, conducted an intelligence driven foot patrol exercise in East Port of Spain, on Friday 4th June, 2021, focusing on the Basilon Street, St. Paul Street and Chafford Court Plannings areas.

During the patrol, officers conducted several searches and interviewed several persons in connection with gang-related activities. Ongoing operations are focused on dismantling activities involving gangs and illegal weapons.
