Maduro attacks Spanish YouTuber Jordi Wild

Nicolás Maduro is once again at the center of controversy after attacking popular Spanish YouTuber Jordi Wild, whom he confused with Frank Cuesta, for an interview he conducted with opposition leader María Corina Machado.

“There it was again today, with the Will Project,” said Maduro, visibly upset, making a mistake in both the name of the podcast and the name of the content creator.

And he added: “A guy who is dedicated to his animals, but They already gave him his money and he believes that because he is an influencer in Spain he is already decisive in Venezuela. ‘The revolution fell because Will Project spoke’”.

Maduro also issued a direct threat to Wild: “You messed with Venezuela, you’re going to dry up, Will, you’re going to dry up. I’m telling you from Caracas, Venezuela, in the spirit of Bolívar, you’re going to dry up, my friend. Dry up, I’ll see you dry up.”

Jordi Wild’s reaction to Maduro’s comment

The popular Spanish YouTuber’s response was not long in coming. Through his X account, Wild shared Maduro’s video with a sarcastic comment: “I’m crying.”

Wild was amused by Maduro’s mistake and by the fact that his podcast and interview had had an unexpected impact in the Venezuelan political arena.

“Dry myself? I’m more of a wetting panties person,” Wild added in another message.

Maduro’s confusion between Jordi Wild and Frank Cuesta may have arisen from the name of their programs, The Wild Project and Wild Frank, respectively. However, Wild is dedicated to conducting personality interviews on his podcast, while Frank Cuesta is dedicated to the protection of wildlife and nature.
