In this episode of Morning Edition, Mr. Kelvon Morris, Minority Leader in the THA discusses the challenging time Tobago is experiencing as it grapples with an uptick in crime.

Last week Tobago recorded its 22nd murder and there was also the discovery of the bodies of a mother and her two young children in a de-commissioned water tank belonging to WASA.

The Queen’s Hall Auditorium is about to renamed after the late great local pianist, Winifred Atwell.

And to celebrate this historic occasion, Queen’s Hall will host a naming ceremony and concert entitled “Ivory and Steel” on Monday, 23rd September, the day before Republic Day.

The biggest party in sport is finally coming home to Trinidad and Tobago as the TKR Men’s CPL first game kicks off on Wednesday.

The end period poverty campaign continues under the NGO Caribbean Women Honors & Empowerment – Trinidad & Tobago Chapter.

Each month the NGO will visit a community and meet with Principals,Parents and the business community to join forces to eradicate period poverty from the root.
