Police Service Commission launches public survey

The Police Service Commission (PolSC) has launched an online survey to gather public feedback on the performance of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
The survey will assess the public’s views on how well the police respond to their safety and security concerns.
Running from Tuesday, September 17 to Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the Public Trust, Confidence, and Satisfaction Survey is part of the Commission’s effort to monitor the effectiveness of the Commissioner of Police and Deputy Commissioners.
This was disclosed via a media release issued by the PolSC on Monday.
According to the PolSC, “Public participation in this survey is critical in shaping a police service that meets the nation’s needs.”
The survey is designed to be accessible, taking no more than ten minutes to complete.
To reach as many citizens as possible, the Commission has partnered with various organisations to make the survey available online and through social media platforms. QR codes will also be provided for easy access via smartphones.
Respondents will remain anonymous. All information gathered will be treated confidentially and will not be shared or discussed publicly.
