Colombian national fatally stabbed | Loop Trinidad & Tobago
Police believe that 34-year-old Colombian national John Gonzales Mosquera was stabbed to death in a robbery gone wrong.
Mosquera was found bleeding at the side of Saddle Road in Santa Cruz – near the Santa Cruz Presbyterian School – at 12:30am on Sunday.
He was bleeding from multiple injuries to his chest.
He kept repeating the word ‘bandit’.
The police and emergency health services were notified and the injured man was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope.
However, he died at 1:15am that day.
Officers from the North Eastern Division as well as the Homicide Bureau were notified and visited the scene.
