National Security Minister Assures Police Recruitment Will Continue In The Future

National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds believes the current halt of recruitment in the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service would not last forever, and may be due to some circumstances within the service.

On November 17th, the TTPS, via its Facebook page, announced a temporary suspension of recruitment until further notice and said it was due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Minister Hinds says he does not expect the suspension to last long, but believes any decision made by the TTPS would be warranted.
