United Nations Trinidad and Tobago Big Data Forum 2023 – Part 1: AI for Safety and Security.

Under the auspices of the Joint SDG Fund project to modernise the national statistical ecosystem in Trinidad and Tobago, the UN in T&T hosted a two-day Big Data Forum in Port of Spain, Trinidad on November 21 – 22, 2023. Four UN agencies – PAHO/WHO, ECLAC, UNEP and ILO, collaborated to convene policymakers, experts in Big Data, AI and Machine Learning, public sector experts, private sector innovators and academics to explore explore opportunities to apply Big Data solutions to the country’s sustainable development strategy.
