Attorneys have issued a legal letter warning members of the public against sharing a video which has gone viral regionally and even internationally, of a wife confronting her husband, a police officer, with proof of an extramarital affair.

Attorneys Boodoo, Balkaran and Associates issued the letter, dated September 14, 2024, on behalf of their clients who are parents to a three-year-old boy, who said the video was shared online without their permission.

“We act for and on behalf of [our clients]. [Our client] is a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). Together, he and his wife are parents to a three-year-old boy. “

“It has come to their attention that there is a particular video which is cicrulating on various social media platforms which was so published without their authorisation, explicit or otherwise in which certain personal issued are ventilated.”

“We take this opportunity to place members of the public on notice that the video was filmed strictly for private usage by our clients and its publication and reproduction was not so authorised and as such, we ask that you refrain from sharing the same via Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram or any other social media platforms as it has caused much distress to our clients as their images have been plastered across various forms of media without their consent.”

“We trust that you would be so guided and look forward to your co-operation as the continued sharing of the said video only serves to exacerbate and inflame a sensitive issue which was meant to be treated privately in the first place.”

In the video, the woman confronts the husband before his parents, saying the other woman is allegedly pregnant for him.

She adds that she has photos of their trysts and proof that he met up with the 23-year-old woman and her son over recent months, saying she received the information from an anonymous person.

“[Name omitted] didn’t tell you he going to be a daddy again? I am not the mommy….you want to tell your father that she’s pregnant? I have videos of your vehicle being there…I have videos of you and she having s** in a hotel. I have pictures, I have videos…I have everything.”

“You have this young girl pregnant, she’s 10 years younger than you.”

It’s alleged that the two met when the woman visited a police station to file a police report against a former partner, and had been involved for the last three months.

The younger woman said via another video, also shared online, that she was not aware that the man was still in a relationship with his wife. She also refuted allegations of pregnancy.

The videos have since gone viral online.
