Bahamian Duo Have Strong Showing In Trinidad and Tobago

TRINIDAD & TOBAGO – Malcolm Menzies and Launy Duncombe competed in the world c development regional cup in Tobago yesterday.

The pair put on a strong performance with Menzies coming 3rd overall. Duncombe finished the course in 6th place.

Both athletes’ best event was the 750m swim portion of the event.

Menzies came 2nd there and Duncombe came third.

Sebastian, Kristian Continue To Battle On The Diamond

Sebastian Walcott’s Frisco Rough Riders and Kristian Robinson’s Amarillo Sod Poodles’ long series continued Saturday night .

It was a blowout for the Riders as they got the 18-1 win.

Walcott, the youngest player in double-a went 2-6 with 2 runs scored and a game high 4 rbi, three of which came on a screamer of a home run to left field in the 8th inning.

It was his first long ball at the double-a level.

On the other side of things, Robinson went 0-3.
