Barinas prison director arrested for escape of three inmates
Officials of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) They arrested Johnny José Orozco Moncayo, director of the Barinas Judicial Confinement Center (Injuba)for allegedly being related to the escape of three prisoners from the aforementioned prison.
The other three arrested for the escape were identified as Leonardo Alexander Caicedo Márquez, who was head of the regime, as well as the guards José Luis Rodríguez Narváez and César Miguel Meneses Loyo, according to judicial sources cited by El Universal.
How did the escape of the prisoners in Barinas occur?
As for the prisoners who escaped from prison in Barinas, two of them were identified as Arun Pineda and Jorge Luis González.
Presumably the escapees took advantage of a shootout between inmates to escape. Once they managed to leave the jail, they fled to a nearby neighborhood where they were waiting to be transferred to another place, according to the authorities.
Given this situation, the Minister for the Penitentiary Service, Julio García Zerpa, requested an intensive search.
