CJ laments financial woes affecting judicial system
Chief Justice Ivor Archie says inadequate staffing, resources and funding continue to impede the judicial system.
During the opening of the 2024-2025 law term, Archie also took aim at the Salaries Review Commission for seeking to slash the salaries of Masters of the High Court, who have been working on outdated salaries.
And as Jesse Ramdeo explains, the CJ says despite obstacles they’ve been facing, their efforts continue to ensure the timely dispensation of justice.
