Cocoyea family homeless after fire destroys house

A house fire in Cocoyea Village, San Fernando, has left several members of a family, including children, homeless.

Guardian Media understands the fire occurred sometime after 2 pm on Wednesday.  Officers of the Mon Repos Fire Station responded and extinguished flames that had engulfed the two-storey house at Mossettville.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

The cause of the blaze, however, is still being investigated.
