Cruel treatment of women detained at INOF denounced
Women detained in the National Institute for Female Guidance -INOF-, in Miranda state, suffer abuse and cruel treatment from the authorities. This was reported by relatives of the inmates, who were able to corroborate the situation in the facility located in Miranda state during a visit on Monday.
In the last search, the Venezuelan Prison Observatory reported, they only left the victims with the clothes they were wearing and They even threw away the milk of the children who are with their mothers in that place.

«They took away books, food, water, sheets, blankets. Some were physically and psychologically abused. “That was horrible, like nothing they had ever done before. We don’t know why they did it,” a relative of one of the inmates told reporters.
Children victims of violations of their rights
The observatory stressed that children in INOF have the right to protection, access to essential goods for their well-being and development and to live in dignified conditions.
