David Lee saddened by death of MP Lisa Morris-Julian

Opposition Chief Whip and Member of Parliament (MP) for Pointe-a-Pierre, David Lee, has expressed his deep sorrow at the passing of fellow parliamentarian, MP Lisa Morris-Julian.

In a statement released on Monday, Lee described the circumstances surrounding Morris-Julian’s passing as “truly heartbreaking,” noting her dedicated service to Parliament since 2020. He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, constituents, and parliamentary colleagues.

“I offer my sincere condolences to the loved ones, family, friends, constituents, and colleagues of MP Lisa Morris-Julian. May her soul rest in peace as we pray for strength for her loved ones at this time,” Lee said.

Lisa Morris-Julian served as a Member of Parliament with unwavering commitment, and her passing has left a significant void in the House of Representatives.

Lee, speaking on behalf of the Opposition and his constituents, extended his prayers for strength and peace to all those mourning her loss.
