Dengue deaths still at 16 according to latest update

There have been no additional dengue deaths, according to the latest Ministry of Health statistics.

The ministry has confirmed there are 1,407 laboratory-confirmed cases of Dengue Fever and 16 laboratory-confirmed deaths.

The statement said, “As at September 17, 2024, a total of 1,142 yellow fever notices have been issued to property owners/occupiers, directing them to clean up their surroundings. Of this, 53 property owners/occupiers have, thus far been identified for the consideration/institution of legal proceedings for non-compliance.”
