“El Tripa” was arrested for robbery and attempted murder

A subject nicknamed “el Tripa” was arrested by officers of the Municipal Police of Valencia, for allegedly being involved in a robbery and attempted murder, which occurred in the Trapichito sector, south of the city.

The criminal robbed a teenager of his bicycle, an incident that was recorded on security cameras. The victim and his mother subsequently reported the incident, police reported in a press release.

After learning that he had been reported, the subject went to the teenager’s house, where he threatened and injured the victim’s mother with a knife.

The criminal was identified by the community as a scourge of the area, dedicated to robbery, theft and intimidation of residents. During the arrest, police officers seized a knife from him.

“El Tripa”, when arrested and verified through the Police Investigation and Information System (Siipol), showed records for improper use of firearms and carrying, detention and concealment of weapons..
