Eleven of the 69 detained teenagers have been released
The non-governmental organization Venezuelan Prison Observatory (OVP) reported that until Sunday, November 17 11 of the 69 adolescents who were detained by state security agencies in post-election protests.
After almost four months, at least 58 minors still remain in detention centers throughout the country, according to monitoring by the Penal Forum.
Who are the released adolescents?
One of the released teenagers is Lauriannys Valentina Cedeño Faríaa 17-year-old girl who suffered a nervous breakdown that caused brain damage after being arrested for making a critical comment in a WhatsApp chat.
Jose David Crespo15 years old, was also released on the night of November 16 from the Pablo Herrera Campíns Socio-Educational Center, in Barquisimeto, after a telematic hearing in the Lara courts in which his release under precautionary measures was agreed.
From the José Damián Ramírez Labrador Adolescent Care Entity, In San Juan de Los Morros, Guárico state, four teenagers were released: one detained in Calabozo, another in Valle de la Pascua and two in Valencia and taken to the Llanero state.
While In La Guaira, five teenagers were also released the night of November 16.

The releases come after prosecutor Tarek William Saab reported last Friday that he requested the courts to review 225 cases and subsequently confirmed that the same number of measures were granted and executed.
So far, a total of 131 people have been released. According to the Penal Forum, as of November 11, 1,848 people remained detained.
