Edmundo González met with Borrell and MEPs
González affirmed on Wednesday that Venezuelans have very strong allies to rescue democracy in the country, after meet in Brussels with the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, and MEPs from different partiesfrom whom he received unanimous support.

González traveled to Brussels on Wednesday to personally thank the European Union for its support in restoring democracy in the country.

In that brief statement he reiterated his intention to return to Venezuela in January to take office as president.
