Health ministry says 833 yellow fever notices issued

A total of 833 yellow fever notices have been issued to property owners/occupiers, directing them to clean up their surroundings. This is according to the Ministry of Health.

According to a statement on Friday morning, of this number, 26 property owners/occupiers have been identified for the consideration/institution of legal proceedings for non-compliance.

Meanwhile, the ministry of health confirmed there are 1,053 laboratory confirmed cases of dengue fever and 11 laboratory confirmed deaths. The number of deaths remains the same from the ministry’s last update five days ago.
