Kidnapped Central businessman released | Loop Trinidad & Tobago
Businessman Suvesh Ramnarine has been released.
According to initial reports, he was released this morning in the Cunupia district.
He was taken to the Chaguanas District Health Facility where he was treated.
Following this, he was taken to the Chaguanas Police Station where he was expected to be questioned by investigators.
He was visibly shaken up, and had minor wounds.
Ramnarine was kidnapped at 7:30pm on October 13 at Rob’s Bar located along the Southern Main Road in Cunupia by people dressed in clothing which resembled that of police tactical wear.
He is the owner of Costura Trading in Warrenville.
Police were told that at the time of the incident a group of men all dressed in police tactical wear had entered the bar.
Two men approached Ramnarine, who was seated alone at a table in the establishment, and instructed him to come with them.
The suspects then took the 33-year old to a black Hyundai Tucson which was parked outside.
